HeartLine has decided not to move forward with the 2020 Festival of Hope Gala in August
The world has changed dramatically in the last three months and we wanted to update you on HeartLine and a difficult decision we’ve made. For the safety of our community, donors, volunteers and staff, we have decided not to move forward with the 2020 Festival of Hope Gala in August.
On March 16th, HeartLine's 2-1-1 Community Resource line began serving as the first point of contact for the Oklahoma State Department of Health's statewide COVID-19 hotline. While playing a pivotal frontline role during the pandemic, HeartLine quickly hired and trained an additional eight temporary staff to assist with the enormous COVID-19 hotline call volume.
Although we are not hosting the Festival of Hope Gala this year, please know your contribution is vital to HeartLine’s programs. Whether it’s through 2-1-1 information and referral, the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, or the Youth Crisis Mobile Response Line, your support enables us to empower our community with critical resources, crisis intervention and compassionate listening.
Because of community support from donors like you, HeartLine continues to provide around-the-clock, compassionate, nonjudgemental listening and information for Oklahomans in crisis and your contribution is more important than ever. Please consider a tax-deductible contribution, as if you were contributing to the Festival of Hope Gala, today. Thank you for your continued support.
