Resources for Active Military, Veterans, and Military Families
After a wonderful 4th of July holiday, HeartLine wants to say “Thank You!” to all active military and veterans for all that you do to protect our great county! The men and women that serve in the United States Military deserve to be recognized and supported in the community. HeartLine works with a variety of different agencies to provide support services to our active military, veterans, and military families.
Issues that veterans or military groups may encounter are frustration in dealing with how to navigate the VA system, where to start to find information, and sometimes, even not wanting to ask for help.
HeartLine offers a comprehensive place to start, with resources for a variety of health and human service needs and compassionate listening. Calling 2-1-1 is a great starting point for information for active military, veterans, and military families. Some of the available resources include support groups, food, clothing, utility or rent assistance, and information regarding the Veteran’s Crisis Line, which is staffed by veterans for veterans.
If you or someone you know is active military, a veteran, or a military family and in need of help or support, please call 2-1-1 today! HeartLine is here to offer help, hope, and information- 24 hours a day.
